I have seen a P900 made in france and another made in china, I have heard that there is even some made in sweden and malaysia... now is there any big differences? Which one is better? Are all of them the same in terms of software and hardware?

Well you would think that generally any item made in Europe would be of better quality, so I would probably think the Swedish/French made P900's would be better. Of course that's a generalization, and I'm sure no matter where they're made, they all undergo the same quality control.

So while there is no difference in hardware or anything like that, Made in Sweden, Made in France is more desirable in my opinion.

I haven't seen any Swedish made P900's. My Swedish made P800's are much better then all the French made P800's I've seen. I'd go with a European made P900 if given the choice.

I would also prefer a European made one cuz I'm European but truely there's no difference and I'm taking whichever I can get.

Mine was mad in France, so I'm happy with that. The device itself seems to be absolutely flawless.

One out of Sweden would be neat since that is Ericsson territory but there can't be any difference really. That said, I'm German so a euro made device is always preferred to one out of China. Keep those dollars and euros at home!

You live in Canada yo!

Newayz what's the difference between Sweed and France?

Posted by: C20LET

Yes I live in Canada....but my family lives in Germany and I travel there yearly and would like to see the European economy finally get back into good shape. I also have dual-citizenship (Canada/Germany) so in that sense, keeping the money at home is either Canada or Europe, in a broader sense.

Difference between made in Sweden and made in France? In Sweden, swedes build them, in France, the french build 'em. Otherwise I have no idea. There can't be a difference I don't think.

It should be written under the battery by the sim-card.

"Made by Nokia" or "Made by Sony Ericsson" instead of saying where the location is..
