Is there a way I can connect a Kyocera 7135 Smartphone to my laptop so that i can browse and get e.mail in outlook? It doesn't necessarily have to be through 3G, if it can directly dial my isp through PPP that would be cool also.

Using the USB/Serial dock for you phone, connect it to your laptop. The laptop should recognize the phone as a new device. You will now have the ability to create new internet connections as usual, however, use the Kyocera Phone when selecting your means of connection instead of your normal 56K modem.

Just don't forget that you need to install the Kyocera Modem Drivers to use the 7135 on your laptop.

You can download the drivers from this page:

The direct link to the drivers is:

Also, use the verizon supplied ISP - dial #777 and use "qnc" as the name and password
