Palm Sony UX50 WIFI Browser (Alternatives)

Before I purchase the UX50 Sony as opposed to the Dell X3i , anyone know if there is an alternative browser to the Sony's preloaded Palm Netfront web browser which does not allow browsing of secure websites or trusted pop-ups? ie hotmail, ebay log ins, etc...
I really enjoy Surfing the Web on my friends Axim 3i wifi PPC 2003 explorer (I can go anywhere), however Palm has all the apps I need and I enjoy the OS more. The WiFi surfing can be addicting, so many wireless networks open to surf on...
I really hope there is an alternative to the netfront browser. I like the PPC internet explorer without having to buy a PPC2003 device?

I have been a Palm user for 6 years, but WiFi internet browsing could change that unless there is a good browser.. Any thoughts would be appreciated, Thanks in advance..
Also I am set on one of these two devices with the internal WiFi and there relative size.

there are MANY options:
a) there is a fixed netfront that allows you to connect to hotmail.

but it does allow connecting to secure sites (SSL, etc)

also WebPro 3.01a (the latest) works on the UX-50 as well.

finally there is a new NetFront on its way out that should fix some of the remaining issues.

can anyone
teach me how to configue the bluetooth setting
so that my UX can use my comp's internet connection

go over to cliesource there are TONS of writeups about it.

but basically under xp/2k setup ICS so that you share your internet over the Bluetooth Network Adapter.

setup a username that has limited access (ie: a guest account, or a new limited user)

pair ur ux w/ ur computer

setup a new network connection on the ux, you will need special commands to set this up (chk out clie source for them)

bada-bing it should work.

if you have more problems just msg me and ill help you out.
