Can p900 startup movie be placed on p800?

I saw on the sony website when playing with the virtual p900 the firy intro that plays when starting up, is this the same intro that is actually on the phone?...and if so, can we use this movie on our p800's by replacing the startup/shutdown/popcorn files?...if it is possible, could someone possibly send them to me?.

If you are interested in helping me out please pm me and we can exchange ideas on how to get the files across..

That isn't on the P900....or at least the one I have. I think they all come with the standard SE logo forming on the screen with a white background.

Wouldn't mind having the one from the website though....

yeah that's the one, heheh thanks for the update, was wondering why no one replied, I guess they were all trying to figure out what the hell I was talking about..

maybe sony will update their boot screens as new firmwares come out....to add to the wow factor.

No problem for the update. I wanted to know about the boot screen too actually. Was sort of disappointed when it wasn't on my P900!

SonyEricsson doesn't need to update firmware really. It's just a .gif file, isn't it? All we need is someone who's good with graphics to create such a .gif. I have a friend who says he'll try, but it'll be a bit for he gets a chance to try.

If it works out though I'll post it right away.

And I agree....the wow factor of the phone is amazing, but a little more can never hurt!

yeah the startup screen is really just a mp4 file but I figured maybe if sony upgraded the firmware they might replace the built in mp4 to a new updated startup screen...to kinda make us feel like we really upgraded something hehehe

I didn't realize it was an mp4 file.....I figured it was just a gif like is used on other phones...guess I'm wrong.

Anyway to find it in the memory? I can't...........
