Motorola E365 or Sagem My-V65 (help!)

Hi,

I decided it's time to buy a new mobile phone (I've been using a Siemens M35 since late 2000) but I still haven't made up my mind yet. Considering I have a 200 € budget (more or less), I think my best choices come down to Motorola E365 and Sagem My-V65.

I like the E365 a lot, but I find the lack of Java support to be somewhat unfortunate. I can get it from my operator for 209.90 €. It comes with a bonus of 20-50 € in calls and 200 free MMS to the same operator (I'll have to check if they also give the pc cable away for free)

The V65 is a Vodafone model only and costs 199.90 €. If I decide to go for this one, I'd have to unlock it afterwards because I want to keep using my current sim card.

I might also take the Samsung SGH-X100 into account. It has great features, including a 9 MB memory pool. On the other hand, it lacks a camera and has a worse screen than the other 2 phones I've mentioned. I should add that I can also get the SGH-X100 from my operator for 179.90 € only and it comes with the same bonuses mentioned above.

So, what's the best choice? Thanks in advance!

Hi again,

I'll add what features in a cell phone matter to me the most right now. It should have

- good build quality and durability
- good voice quality and reception
- good color display
- large phone/address/email book
- clear and loud polyphonic ring tones
- large memory pool
- mms and Java support
- good PC connectivity
- decent camera
- average price tag (200-250 € with SIM card)

As far as I can tell (and I'm no expert), Sagem MyV-65 is my best choice at the moment. Too bad it looks very ugly in light blue and is available from Vodafone only.

Motorola E365 looks quite good also, but it lacks Java support. That's too bad, because it has most other features from my list (although I don't know how good its phone/email book is).

Motorola V525 looks like a good choice too, but it's also a Vodafone only product. Besides, I don't really like clamshell phones that much

Samsung X600 is also a personal favourite, but I don't know when it'll be available here in Portugal. And no idea about its price tag either...

I guess I'm out of ideas. Does anyone feel like giving me some hints?

Thanks in advance,

Boda

Personally, I go for My-V65. It has better features than E365.
