For some reason its not letting me post on II but I noticed that all of the threads about WAV's say "WAV FILES FOR i730/i205"

The Best Place for Ringers with Voices and MIDI's

Ok this site is full of MIDI's and Other ringers and PICS!

Heres the trick, NEXTEL doesnt allow you to download ringers from your NET when connected with your phone. BUT we have DATA CABLES

3G upload doesnt allow you to right click and hit save target as.. or any other way of scamming their ring tones out of their site.

I KNOW A WAY THOUGH...

I havent gotten my i733 PF yet, so i havent checked out the SPECS.. but im sure L BO or someone will do it asap cuz they have the loader and the phone and smarts.

Ok when u click PREVIEW or PLAY to listen to a ringer, find the ones u like. All you have to do is HIT PREVIEW and listen to it somehow... Then go to your Hard Drive in your PC, go to your TEMP. Internet Files, they are all saved their because they are TEMPORARILY sittin there in case u choose to listen to the same RINGER it can load 2 times as fast. so when in your temp. internet files, click COPY and paste to somewhere in ur ringers folder, and load to ur phone bata bing bata boom.

A few lil helpfull hints, when you register... It asks for a 10$$ donation, U DONT HAVE TO PAY!!!! ok? dont get fooled.

If you cant find the section with the VOICE RINGERS... choose a sprint phone as ur phone, and it should allow you to listen to VOICE RINGERS....

even if u did have a phone where it allows u to download ringers from the NET... click SEND TO LOCKER, it sends the ringer in their, modify's it to fit ur phone, and u dont have to pay the 10$ FO REAL!!! I know it ASKS YOU, but its only asking, not demanding!

I just made a few wavs and i cant wait to load them in--
i'm wondering tho, will the phone loop the wavs/midis that we load in? My wavs are 3-5 seconds each, and hopefully, if the phone loops them continuosly, we should be set- does anyone know?

If anyone wants to trade some house/tranz rings lemme know..im working on some more now

An even simpler way of getting around the no right click... (this works for any site that uses javascript to prevent a right mouse click).

If your keyboard has a windows key, it also has a context menu key. On the right hand side, between the windows key and the Ctrl key. Pressing this key performs exaclty the same function as the right mouse button, except the Javascript people use to prevent right clicks does not catch it. So just move the mouse pointer to whatever you want to right click on, and press this key. Voila, your context menu, complete with "Save Target As..."

You can also kill the .mid file type in your folder options. This makes the files foreign to the system, and it always asks you if you want to save the file when you left-click on it.

I have been working on perfecting the ringtones for the i730. I have finally figured out the best way to do it.

To make a long story short, the file is converted from MP3 to WAV, then edited (Bassline reduced, edited for size and starting position), then saved as an AU file. BUT...since the AU files wont upload to the phone, they are renamed to WAV files BUT NOT RESAVED AS WAV's. This is the best way, if you resave as a true WAV, it sometimes doesn't work. (The attached files are 100% ready to be transferred, NO EDITING NEEDED)

Anyway...enjoy. Any comments or suggestions, please email me gford4@comcast.net.

I was getting that a lot in the beginning stages of doing these...did you update your IUSB.dll file? You should have the file dated 12/3/2003. Do a search if you dont have it.

Here you go...It took me a little while, because I had to go out and get better versions of the songs you wanted. The RAM files were not that good. When you take a ****** file, and make the quality worse, it sounds REAL bad. These sounds pretty good, I hope you like 'em.

To anyone who is having problems hearing the WAV's on your computer:

These are NOT real WAV files. They are AU files, these files have to be renamed to WAV files in order to load them into the phone. If you want to hear them before you load them, rename them to .AU and play with whatever program is associated. (WMP seems to play them fine for me)

I am using the i730. How do you send wav files into the phone? The program that i am sending the MIDI file's can't send Wav. I'm using Iden WebJal program to send my music and wallpapers.
Also! How do you delete music & pic's when u want? Do a master reset?

Sorry didnt label em with artist, but they're all basically Rap/RNB some exclusives(Blends) in there. Each one is 18-19 Seconds long, because it takes about 15-17 seconds for voice mail. any longer will just eat up space, all made with sound forge so its at its best quality.

I have several movie qoutes that I have turned into ringtones. They are from movies like Full Metal Jacket, As Good as it Gets, A Few Good Men. I also have some humorous ones about different TV characters like Archie Bunker and Scooby Doo. Some contain foul language and some don't. Let me know if anyone wants some of these. I believe the posting rules forbid me from posting the foul language ones in here, don't they?
