How bad is the picture quality of the 7250? Can it be compared as better or worst than the T616 or just about the same? Also how bad are the ring tones? I read alot of reviews about the ring tones sound sucking in quality.

If you're looking for a phone that puts out a bigger picture, higher resolution scren, then go with the Ericsson T616. The Screen has a color depth of 65,000 colors, while the Nokia 7250i has depth of only 4,096. I also believe, someone correct me if im wrong, that the the T616 takes photos up to 640x480 resolution, and the 7250i will only go to 352x288. But you also have to consider other features other than the camera or color depth. What else does the T616 have? What else does the 7250i have? The 7250i has a radio, the T616 doesn't. Which one costs more or do they cost about the same? Which has a bigger screen?
OK, there's the answer. Being myself, I would always go with the Nokia, but that's my own opinion. If you really want the camera feature to be the best feature in the phone, not caring about nething else, then go with the T616.

NO!
T616 definitely doesn't take 640x480 shots.
Max size is something like 320x256 or whatever... and I believe the picture quality is slightly better on the 7250.
Screen better on the T616, but the 7250 makes great use of only 4k colours... very crisp and sharp fonts.
RF better on the Nokia.
SMS input faster with Nokia.
Incoming sound better on Ericsson... but iffy:
- Nokia seems hissy
- Ericsson just seems... dirty, but not hissy
(sorry... hard to explain)
Outgoing sound
- 7250 wins for sure (on Fido anyway)
Looks: T616
Speakerphone: 7250 only
Bluetooth: T616 only
Infrared: both
You can save addresses for people in your contact list only with the Nokia.
Calendar appointments can remind you when the phone is off with the T616.
Ringtones I think are louder with the Nokia, but quality is great with the T616.
Increasing ringer ACTUALLY WORKS with the Nokia, where the one on the T616 is always on, even though there's an option of turning it off.
Vibrate maybe slightly stronger on the Nokia.
Can't think of much else...
I tried the T616 on Fido in London Ontario... didn't care for it at all. Everyone said it sounded like I was talking on a cellphone. Switched to both the Siemens A56 and the S55... sounded great.
Made a test call with the 7250... sounded very clear as well.
So I'll be selling the A56 and lookin for a 7250 for myself. I need the speakerphone more than Bluetooth.

thank you for correcting me...when i was browsing the feature s of the t616, they never posted anywhere the resolution of the pictures...so obviously Nokia is still in the lead ahead of the T616!

Well, some people expect the phone to put out pictures good enough to compete with my Minolta DiMage S414 (4.1 MP). They have o remember that when you have a lens that small and when you have to combine the digi cam with the phone, it's not gonna be the best, but it sure is convenient when your on the go and you see something you can't pas up without takin a pic!
Stick with the Nokia chrisso!
