Hey,

Well, I bought the S55 desktop charger for my SL56. I never thought about this before I bought it, but there is no on/off switch.

I like using the desktop charger, because it is a way to display my phone. But it'll wreck the battery if I keep taking the phone on/off the charger.

Ya I could unplug the cable from the back of the charger, but that's kinda defeating the whole purpose.

Not really sure if I'm asking anything here, maybe kinda just ranting.

What desktop charger do you have that has an on/off switch? I have on my desk 2 cordless phone chargers, 2 cell phone charges, and a PDA charger and none of them have on/off switches. In fact, in the 18 years that I have been using cell phones, I can't recall a single charger that had a switch. They all have circuitry that knows when to provide juice and when to trickle charge.
