If you can't add memory, which phone (about the size of the T616) carries the largest memory?
I have about 2000 contacts in Outlook and I can't sync them all.

from what i know, the 13 sec trick is a way to get rid of all the bogus default images and stuff in that you somehow pull out hte battery on like the 12-13th second of a master reset and then do stuff o_o....i thought it only works with t68i though

Even if this worked, I'm not sure that it would free up enough memory.

supposedly it gives you about 2500kb free.. I can't get higher than 2104kb free, tho

I'm not sure I'm doing it right, tho.. I can't find real instructions.

The memory was fixed at 2mb only, and couldn't be change.

ok

i read this on another site, and can't find the thread right now, but it was another way besides the 13 second trick (which worked great on my t310 and my gf's t226)

but apparently it works on the 600's

here we go

do a master reset

don't let the phone lock (apparently this won't work then)

don't view any of the pics or ringtones or themes at this point

create a text file of say 9 k or so, name it something like 1232.thm
upload it to the phone
repeat, changing the file size slightly and the name

continue uploading until the phones memory is full

then upload a few 1 or 2 byte "themes" to make sure it is full to max capacity

now.

now try and view the pics, it SHOULD (i could be totally wrong though) tell you it can't be displayed and ask if you wanna delete it. boom, delete

keep doing this till all the pictures are deleted (may have to upload another one or 2 themes to make sure the memory on the phone is still full)

the same should work for games and ringtones

eventually you should be able to get rid of all the predefined items (themes, pics and games) and then your mem should hit somewhere close to 2M

(just remember to delete those junk themes you put on there at the end)

then upload like mad with the custom themes ringtones and pics

i'd like to know if this actually works as i haven't tried it, i will keep looking for the original thread as well
