I just got my P900, but I can't get it to sync with anything

When I was installing the software I got an error message. Does anyone here have a suggestion for me?

When I try to install the PC suite I get this message:

An installation support file
'c:\docume~1\rachel\locals~1\temp\{fc18114b-05a0-11d6-8140-000102e745a6}
could not be installed
access denied

Please help me! I am not a computer aficionado and I am starting to regret spending this much money for something that is causing me so much stress.

Wonder why it's looking at your temp directory. Did you install the software from the CD or did you download it from Sony Ericsson's website?

I used the CD-ROM that came with the phone.
