Hi there,

I'd really like your thoughts on how the nokia 3300 would measure up to the Blackberry 6750.

I was thrilled to see a decent sized phone with a QWERTY keyboard. Now, I understand that the 3300 can't do outlook exchange email like the 6750 does, but i don't need that.

Now, I like 6750, but it's bulky and has no mp3 capabilities. It's just not a good phone.

So, has anyone here used both devices?

How do the PIM and email functionalities of the 3300 compare to those of the Blackberry 6750, which are really the key strengths of the 6750.

I'll tell you at least my opinion of my 3300..

As far as function is has just about everything you want in a fon. Feature rich. The WAP functions are great.. apps, games, pics, mp3s.. (no cam yet).. The headset you listen to the MP3's with sucks ***, but hopefully somebody will catch a clue and upgrade it or come out with a new one.

the MAIN PROBLEM I HAVE WITH THIS PHONE is its LACK of MODABILITY. I use prepay for the time being (cingular) and I can't mod it worth ****. I can add ringtones and thats about it. I can receive SMS but not MMS so I cant change logos or wallpapers. My wife's 3300 is properly hooked up, and I have successfully downloaded logos, wallpaper and ringtones via WAP. The keyboard is cool, BUT IT DOES NOT HAVE BACKLIGHTING.. what the HELL were they THINKING? That's the next thing that should be upgraded and FOR FREE.. totally ignorant and a blatant lack of planning. Total disregard for the end user stuck in traffic on during a early sunset trying to SMS home for a grocery list. Total pain in the ***.

Other than that, the phone is killlller.. Im now gearing more towards a Palm style PC type phone with all the same connectivity. I think mainly the biggest gripe I have is I can't just hook the freekin' thing up to my computer and upload/download to it (other than MP3s). Why didn't they think of this?? I don't understand this. But that's just me.

I have not used the blackberry but if its anything like the 3300 im sure there's a few quirks in tehre as well. I think nokia was just in a hurry to come out with a competitive, feature rich multimedia phone before the holidays, whjich is quite unfortunate for anyone who purchased it too soon.

They need FACEPLATES too.. CAMOFLAGE would be nice. The jay-z model is sik, black rules. Why can't they just sell the damn faceplate. I hate capitalists.
