Question for P900 owners who also had the P800!

I have a p800 now and am thinking of upgrading. But i'm wondering if some of my complaints about the p800 have been fixed. Can you tell me:

1) If the phone's alarm and its ring tone play through the headset if you have the headset plugged in? I keep my heatset plugged in on my p800, but therefore can barely hear the phone's alarm and sometimes its ring tones unless the phone is very close to me. That's a stupid feature. The alarm in particular should play through the phone, not the headset. Anyway, is this still the case with the P900???

2) When you dial a phone #, and get voice mail or some automated attendant, and press a # on the keypad, do you still end up adjusting the phone's volume inadvertently? I hate this feature on the P800. If you press a digit shortly after making a call or adjusting volume with the jog dial, the phone thinks you want to adjust volume with your keypad, instead of entering a digit that might activate someone's voice mail, or transfer you to the right department, etc. Another stupid P800 interface decision. Just hope that's been addressed as well, but tend to doubt it.

Many thanks! These two "features" really prevent me from loving my phone. I get so close, but these annoyances crop up almost every day.
