Question on P900 Background Dimension?

I was uploading pics for background today and as the instruction manual states that the screen supports 208x144 pics.... however when I uploaded it, it seems like there are 2 blank bars running across the top and bottom of the background....

When I tile the pic, the two blank spaces are filled... so this leads me to suspect that the background can support larger pics.... so my question is, what is the exact dimension that is supported?

I apologize for posing this question if it has been previously answered before...

i believe the resolution is 320 x 208. that's is the phones resolution so thats' what i think the size of the pic should be but i cant say for sure. i guess if u have photoshop u can mess with and see which resolution is the best for it.

yeah there are two resolutions, one for flip open and one for flip
closed.

I believe the one for 208 x 320 is for flip open, and 208 x 208 is for closed.

208 x 144 is for the P800

If you use the P800 pictures with this resolution as a background for flip open, then you'll have the black bands on top and bottom of the picture.

This is correct. You basically need square pictures for the flip closed mode. Either chop larger pictures or try and find some at this resolution. I can't find many online to be honest. I just resized some other pics to fit flip closed mode. If anyone has a good P900 website for this I'd be very thankful!
