Today i have fw A19 and i want A39. Should i first flash it to A22 or is it ok to go straight to A39?

I want to remove the voda lock but i guess i have to remove it with cra**2d prog first . Then upgrade the fw to a22 or a39.

Am i right?

Yes, you have to use the CRACK2D to unlock your phone first then upgrade it to whatever firmware that you want.

Because to unlock your phone you have to have your phone on A22 or below, if not the CRACK2D can't read your phone.

Yes. You can run Crack2D now, as you have A19. After unlocking, you can go directly to A39, or A53, wherever you want to go.

Good luck

Now i got my cable and have isolated 4 & 10.

Everytime i run c**ck2d i get the following error ( see attached image ).

Many many time it just gets communication error but i guess i have to turn it on in exact right time.

I have the sim-card in and using A19 ( so far ).

It connects fine in panasonic edit tool software and backs up my data fine.

Hope someone has a good hint for this

Are you sure you've isolated the correct pin 4 & 10?

You have to isolated the pin 4 & 10 from left to right (facing the pin with the phone face up.

Secondly do you set your com port for you USB cable to COM 1? This is very important because it ONLY work on COM 1.

its not usb its a serial cable and yes thereis only com1 on it

can there be a problem with my cable?
it says PAN-GD88 on it but when i orderded it it was for a gd87 ( like the one i have ) or is it the same cable.

It shouldnt stop on error reading simlock. it can read the IMEI and then it stops.

all the Gx8x are the same, the cable should be working if you have A22 or lower for crack2d to recognize. I find it very odd that it only works half way before it fails even for CB2000

does anyone know why it stops on "reading simlock"?
