Fixing a V60c Hinge?

Hi guys, I've got a V.60c that surely but slowly is dying on me. Problem is that the the connection in the hinge is weakening so that when you open the flip, the LCD (both inner and other) loses power and does not work. Thankfully however, the phone still works in a talk/listen capacity.

Normally, I'd just go for a new phone, however, my carrier (bell) does not have any phones out right now that I like or can afford.

Does anyone have any tips on what I can do to fix this myself? Is there a commonly known loose connector or something? At the end of the day, I can still make calls on it so I don't want to screw that up in an effort to fix the LCD. Still right now I look like a tool when I hold the flip half closed so that I can see the LCD!
