Hi,

I'm from Malaysia.

I bought a used Panasonic GD75, originally
used by someone from China.

My phone is locked to GSM 900 bands only.
It will detect GSM 1800 bands, but can't
make or receive calls in this band.

I did take the phone to the local Panasonic
service centre. They used their diagnostic CB2000
software on my phone, and it showed "FIRMWARE LOCKED"
under the GSM 1800 section. Does this mean
the EEPROM is locked or something ?

Asked a few local experts to try unlocking,
and they said they managed to unlock the software,
but they told me that the phone's hardware
is locked as well.

The phone can't even call 112.

Any solutions ?
