Hi All,

i am a newbie to unlock biz. I asked T mobile to unlock my t68i as i am travelling next week.

They said they would do it and then gave me instructions to follow..something like <- <- ** and a numeric code.

i did it all !!

Then i tried a cingular SIM card on my phone.. before i tried the above stuff, my phone used to say invalid SIM. After i tried the above unlock code, when i insert the cingular SIM, it says searching and never shows up anything. I find signal but still cannot place any call.

SO my questions
1) Is cingular SIM card the right one to try to check if my phone is unlocked or not

2) How else can i check if my phone is unlocked or not? (apart from inserting other SIMs)
