HBH-500 BT Headset Charger??

Hi guys....
Im a nokia/SE person, but recently was given a Siemens HBH 500 BT headset....of course i dont have any siemens chargers for it....so i was going to modify a Nokia Car Charger, and put a 2.5mm plug on the end so tha tit fits in the BT headset...
My question is....the nokia car chargers are 8.7V. If i feed this into the Siemens Headset will it charge it well? Or is it too much voltage for the headset?
