Anyone's phone do this on startup?

im am just curious about the p900's from europe:

1) anyone notice that when calling someone, at the bottom when it shows dialing... it spells it with 2 L's (i.e "dialling")??

2) also whenever you power on your phone, does it first give you a quick vibe, then a couple of audible beeps... before it loads the home screen??

its not affecting the phone in any way (as far as i know), but i am curious to see if it is supposed to do that.

P.S. its not on silent mode or flight mode, if your wondering.

Mine does the vibe and audible beeps when it finds the network. Never paid that much attention to the spelling of 'dialing'

all p800/p900's that I've tested does the vibe and the audible beeps when you turn it on and pick up a signal. It's normal

Mine P900 says 'Calling' when I call someone. The phone is in UK English.

As for the vibe and audible beeps, it is normal.

aww that sux myabe mine is jacked up... when i call and it dials the number it says "dialling"?? maybe the firmware? mine is from the UK too, (made in France).

Where is your model made??? ......damn, that will bug me now.

Actually when i call it DOES say "calling"... i made a mistake and actually meant it says "dialling" when trying to connect to my cingular wap service.

it dials the wap service phone number and states "dialling" (with two L's), while it is trying to connect.

so yeah it does actually display "calling" when making phone calls but displays "dialling" when dialing my wap service.

but i am still questioning wether my firmware is old or prototype firmware......

Haywood, for current P900 firmware see carmovies post in this thread

Your firmware is the same as mine; not the newest. However, when SEUS goes on line, that will change.
