Mio8380 wont boot

HHHEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPPPP

My Mio8380 won't boot, it does nothing.

It frooze I could press nothing so I remove the battery.

now I turn it on not at all happens, the keypad lights come on
can the TFT Screen back light comes on and that's it...

nothing else..

I tried hard resetting it doesn't work, I can't even boot into
the rom upgrade mode.. it does nothing at all just the backlight
and that's it....

Any inputs????
Please help...

is my phone officially dead?

Have you tried leaving the battery out for a couple of hours or so?

yep
I did overnight

and I get no results

once I turn it on you can turn it back off via keypad
you have to remove battery,

there was one time that the charging led was just
flashing red..

man I just got this phone, it's always freezing
even when nothing is on it,

but this is the first that it has never came back on..

I suppose the best thing to do is e-mail Mitac Support:

support@mic.com.tw

Tell them what's wrong and hopefully, they'll be able to help.

hi, guys

i had same problem few days ago after i did upgrade from 2002 to wm2003 for my Mpx200. then i installed one or two program such as PocketTV, day later, when i switch on, it just hang there, nothing comes up.

what my solution is: do hard reset, it cleared all stuff i had on the phone, i lost the contacts and softwares, but it worked

hope this help you guys

ohh, after upgrade, my battery only last a day now, and it i play music or movie, it may just few hours, i followed instruction and did full charge. bad

I have the same problem with Mitac 8390
There a reset procedure but nothing happened.
I pressed the volume control before turning it on and waited for it to vibrate.
Nothing happened.

Anyone knows their contact number? The email on top doesn't help much since they'll just auto respond and not reply back.

no need to contact me about my 8390, I figured out a how to do the flash format so I'm fine now. Hopefully that won't happen again.

switch it on with the vol-down button held in... this should take you to a rom menu, you can choose some format option in IPSM functions... alternatively, turn on with 'record' button held in. wait for buttons to flash twice - that should do the trick.

Instead of pressing volume down, actually use the down arrow in the center. Select the option regarding about its flash rom or any to that verbage. I forgot since I gave that phone to my auntie and getting a different version. I miss that phone but it's time to change it.
