Greetings... I just arrived in Australia for a 2 week vacation from the US... Anyone know what I need to do to configure my phone to enable the internet features... I can't send or receive SMS/MMS/Email messages and I can't get to the internet through the browser... I do have phone connectivity (Vodaphone...)...

Anyone???

T-Mobile US only offers GPRS roaming in 'Aussie on Telstra. Go to phone preferences, GSM networks, network select and select Telstra. But still at .015 per KB ($15 per MB) it would just be alot cheaper to buy a prepaid sim card in Australia and use that.

Thank you. How would I go about picking up a prepaid SIM? Do I just walk into any old Vodaphone shop and buy one?

if youre in austraila u should have no problem finding a shop that sells prepaid sims. A vodafone shop should will work,or any convience store for that matter
