I completely rebuilt my 3390 from top to bottom besides the board, for the first time. My signal strength has been significantly comprimised. I've tried resetting the antenna, but it hasn't worked. The antenna seems to have good contacts from what I can tell. Any suggestions? -Thanks.

I noticed my vibra alert is not working either.. if that gives any clues to what might not be right.
Thanks

You rebuilt it? or did you just take it apart fully and put it back together again?
If you took it apart and put it back together you might have put it back together to tight.
If you rebuilt/redisigned it there was probably a flaw in the design.

Actually I fixed it yesterday. I was going to post a reply in case anyone ever searched the site for the answer. I took it apart and put it back together with a flimsy aftermarket Middle (housing internal).
So the answer: All of us who have modded know aftermarket parts are often not true. On the OEM middle the antenna contacts fit correctly. You will seat them into the middle as far as they will go. On the piece I had, they had no problem making contact with the antenna on the back side, but seated to far down. The answer was to seat them in about half way down so there was better contact with the board.
Similar trouble with the vibramotor. Just had to adjust the contacts.
Maybe this will be useful to a moddin' newbie in the future!
I guess I'll have to rebuild a 7210 next haha *laughs*
