ARE THERE bugs in the latest Sony Ericsson smartphone?
A usually reliable source has hinted that bugs have been found in Sony Ericsson's flagship smartphone, the P900.
The bugs are supposedly serious enough for Orange to have recalled the first units shipped in the UK, our source claims.
There may, of course, be some confusion because Sony Ericsson was recently forced to recall some of its CTS-13 handset chargers in the UK.
Nonetheless, the P900 is one of the leading Symbian based handsets available and an arch rival to Sendo's recently announced X handset.
The INQ is not entirely convinced that – despite its glitzy launch, the X is actually shipping. The deal with the Italian operator, TIM (not WIND as we accidentally said in our original story) should soon help dispel that rumour, though.

I must have a mute duck because my P900 doesn't creek, no bugs noticed yet either.
The only thing I've noticed is that mp3 ringtones need to be limited to "22kHz" rather than "44kHz" or else you'll get distortion out of the P900's speaker. Not a big deal really.

mine creaked last night after I saw this movie, but I can't reproduce it now.
I think it takes a specific angle or something. The one in the movie is obviously problematic (or has an owner with exceptional hand strength).

Just tried mine and it does squeak. Never noticed it til I squeezed a little. Seems more like cheap plastic. No biggie as long as I dont drop it.

my P800 used to squeek as well
already dropped one of my P900s
the bottom is messed up 
(the back-panel is a lil scratched.. but it shows!)
that is what happens when u let ppl hold ur P900!!!!
now I let no one touch it... unless they r on top a very cushionned area and hv just washed their hands!
