how long should winmodo stay signaling when you first start the upload to a new firmware, when i tried to upgarde it spent a full 5 mins signalling so i guessed it wasn't working and stopped the download. my fone still works fine as it hadn't even started the boot. does any1 know what im doin wrong??

I would be guessing that maybe your com port is set wrong.

Are you turning phone off before starting download, and then starting download, and then pressing power on phone?

BE CAREFUL when stopping WinMoDo, you do not want to kill your phone.......

i have the fone connected, switched off, then start the program, set it up with the firmware etc then start the download on com1 (which is workin as i can put games on) after 5 mins the boot hadn't even started so i guessed it would be ok. i left the fone off the whole time

i have just re-read the flashing walk thru and realised i needed to tap the power button, my bad, sorry for any time i have wasted. but now i have a problem with the games i wanna fix b4 i flash.

all the games exept both versions of wallbreaker were working until i tried the demo file now nothing works. i have done an unlock of the eeprom o see if it will fix it bu nothing. i also tried a memory erase but still nothing.

can any1 help with this gaming problem?

I want to buy the X70. Does Panasonic allow firmware upgrades off of their site? How are you upgrading the firmware? Thank you.

im sorry but i dunno anythin about the X70, im getting my firmware from www.74bird.com/panasonic and using winmodo to put it on the fone, sorry i cant be more help to you
