here you go. If you right click the image on the page and hit "save taget as" you will get it in a BMP file.

hmm I sent it to my phone doing that vzwpix.com thing and I recieve it and I can see it fine, I save it, and I go to look at it under my media and ther's nothing there. what did I do wrong?

i can send myself bmp wallpaper via vzwpix, but they won't save in my graphics.
the only ones that seem to save are gifs.
any idea what i'm doing wrong, or what i have to do??

I have a 23kb homer simpson file that I tried to attach, but got rejected due to file size?

Its a 120x131 jpg file.

I see everyone's pics displayed in the body of their message, how do I share this with everyone?

I reduced the file quality in photoshop to 8, High (Instead of 10 maximum), so here it is, down to 14KB!

Hope you Simpsons/Homer J fans like it!

okay well.. now youve just copied half the images ive hosted on my site

.. if you're going to make a site like that you should at least have some images that you cant find on other sites (ones youve made).. also try using photoshop to resize things, that way they dont look like weird (ie when you use ms paint)

edit: nevermind.. you didnt resize them.. just copied from the site... using the tripod pagebuilder you messed up the sizes.

Well I corrected the sizing of all the images, and made sure they were right on tripod. I also used my own images created with fireworks. Is there anything else wrong with my life that you would like to comment on?

I've seen a few wallpapers of mine on sites too, but all I did to make them was take a picture I found on the 'net, resize and crop it, adjust color if necessary and export it in the proper format. Does this mean I should get any kind of credit?

Are you actually drawing the NCAA logos and photographing the beamers yourself?

Are you giving credit to the people who did draw the logos and photograph the cars?

Not a dig on you, but this whole thing is kind of a grey area with me. I actually thought it was cool to see a wallpaper of mine on a site, whether they credit me or not. I know I "made" it and somebody liked it.

Yes, I liked seeing "mine" on someone else's site. But not all of them were there. I'd like people to be able to see the rest. I think I have over 400. The site that I saw a bunch of mine on was boasting only 293. I've got plenty more offline, but I've almost max'd out my 10MB limit.

juanflaco i agree with you.. someone pmed me whining that i had used a few of their pictures (half of which had been emailed to me so i didnt even know where they were from ). unless you created the image yourself completely.. ie an original idea and you drew it -- you cant take credit for it. I could just get the pic of the net and resize it myself. Are you making money off the site? no. so why worry if other people have it too?

It may not mean anything to you, but it does to me. I put a lot of time and effort into finding, cropping, resizing and altering "my" 400+ wallpapers.

Of course it takes time and effort to create the wallpapers. I just find it ironic that you give no credit to the people who spent time and effort creating the image in the first place, a lot more time and effort than it takes to turn an image into a wallpaper, yet you want credit for the relatively modest effort you put into your part of it.

Don't get me wrong, I agree with you in principle, I just think it's odd to credit contributions to the wallpapers so selectively. Nobody is claiming they created your wallpapers, they're just posted them for people to access. If you want your repository of 400+ wallpapers to be the place people go to get 'papers, just pimp your site on the boards.

well torso, once you start putting a link under each of your 400 pictures to the site that you got the picture from, as well as the copyright information, im sure anyone that took an image from your site would be happy to leave a link to your site. (i dont even know what your site is...)

i re-did the Calvin wallpaper. i did it as a 120x131 GIF image so it could be posted here, and i lowered the image so it will fit as wallpaper without hitting the Verizon Wireless banner if you didn't remove it...

i didn't originally make the wallpaper, i downloaded it from a site. all i did was re-sized it, so it was lower and didn't hit the verizon banner. and whoever did it also forgot T-Mobile in addition to Nextel, but it's still fine the way it is... LMAO

hey guys! I just got BitPim to work for me again!! I have sent like 4 wallpapers to my phone from this post but none of them fill the whole screen. The go fro mtop to bottom but the dont go side to side across, its just a centered picture.

YEAH, IT IS AWESOME! i just tried it on my vx6000 and set my clock to analog, it's so sweet lookin.
