from the pics of the 3390 one.. the back i think looks bad.. may need to be more simpler..

i got one for my 8290, the fit is ok its better than those other aftermarket faceplate. the only problem is that I lost the on/off button waaah, anyone has an extra of those lying around?

Since I had NO IDEA what a VERTU cover was- I searched on google.com for VERTU FACE 8290, and came up with this site: Apparently he sells them for $14.

I HAVE NO AFFILIATION WITH THIS WEB SITE WHATSOEVER... JUST WANTED TO POST THE PICS.

mine is the silver one but the back looks like the black gold of 33xx, it is silver in color with chrome VVVVV at the back

Do you have problem with the signal? mine comes very very weak.
you can see the differences, if you pull out the back cover for a while then put it back in, in same area.

Warning! If you use a battery cover that covers the antenna portion, you will get weaker reception in poor areas. If you are outdorrs you won`t see much difference.

This might be a old thread but i got this faceplate today, and if you scrape the chrome paint inside of the back of the vertu where the antenna is, you might be able to improve the reception a bit without it reflecting back onto itself. the guy in the store did that to mine. saying there where complaints about too much signal loss and this helped a bit.

I picked up a clear white and blue vertu case for my 3390. It looks pretty cool and the fit is pretty good. The only thing is the cheap gold paint on the keypad which I scratched off anyway. I would post pics but, no digicam.

Is gsmsquare the only place I can get a vertu case for my 8390?

the black/silver one for the 33XX look amazing. the 8390 ones are kind of boring.

THere must be another site selling these?

I have to agree, it doesn't look that great. Sorry... Unique, but not that great. Although, I'm sure alot of you like it.

I changed the 8290 Voicestream faceplate with a silver 8250 faceplate. It looks plain, but its sill better looking than the original 8290 faceplate.

As soon as I get to LA, I'm gonna try to find a place that will change the backlights. I want to get the white ones. I miss that color. I changed the LEDs on my 3210 and 3310 back in the Philippines to white. I think they're pretty sharp...
