my new 3395 has seemingly the same green leds, but the batteries are diff. Mine came with the NiMH 900mAh BMC-3 vs the original 3390's BMC-2 640 nimh.. Hope this helps, and I love my new phone, a little heavier (.5 oz) than the regular 3390 but the extra battery life is worth it.
