First post...
I am about to begin testing a Treo 600 through AT&T WS on my companies dime. I can keep it for thirty days, use it and then return it and it won't cost anything. I really want to get a sense of this device and if I can retire my UX50 and v60 and finally go with an all in one.
Problem is I am with Verizon Wireless and I will NOT switch to another carrier in the New York area. I took a shot and e-mailed Handsrping and below is their response as to if Verizon will offer the Treo. Maybe we will get lucky, for those of us who need to, and Verizon will offer this next year.
"Thank you for contacting palmOne formerly Handspring. We are only able to offer the CDMA, dual band Sprint version and the GSM Cingular and AT&T version of the Treo 600 at this time. Please continue to check back with us at, www.handspring.com, as additional information regarding the other versions, including possible trade in promotions, will be released shortly. Unfortunately there are no other pre-purchase programs for the other versions nor more of a specific release date for the other versions at this time.
We hope to release a Verizon version of the Treo 600 sometime next year; however at this point we are unable to gurantee it.
If you need further assistance please reply to this email or call

Thank You,
Brock
