Does anyone know how to edit the voice mail callback number so you can store your password (so you don't have to hit # and your password each time)? Thx.

I posted this question on Verizon's website last week. They called me and investigated it. Turns out there's no way for a user to edit the voice mail callback. I challenged the tech on the phone -- after all, this phone is sold in other markets with other service providers, and not everybody uses "*86". But he says that's the way the phones are set up for Verizon, and we normal people can't change it. As a workaround: add an entry to your phone book (I called mine "Voice Mail" but it can be anything) that's defined as "*86" followed by a hard pause followed by your password followed by "#". Then associate that entry with speed dial number 1. Then instead of going through the menus to get your voice mail, simply hold down "1".

I changed it on my phone. Enter into the SMS menu by pressing the "envelope" icon below the OK button. Then scroll down to settings. The setting you want to change is:Edit Voice C.B.
It works for me!

I went into the SMS menu (by clicking the Envelope icon below the OK button). Went to Settings (8).

But then all I have is:
1 Save sent msg
2 Default CallBack
3 Alert
4 Auto Erase
5 Entry Mode
6 Block or Unblock
7 Signature
8 Direct View

I tried #2, and it gives me a screen showing my "Callback numbr" -- and it's my 10-digit phone number. I don't think this is my voice callback; I think this has something to do with short text messaging, where my phone will automatically transmit my # as a callback. At any rate, it's not currently set to "*86", which is what gets sent when I go through the voice mail menu.
