GSM phones

i just noticed that rogers has no wireless guard insurance for GSM phones... is that cuz if it gets stolen that anyone can use it (i know i can change accounts really easy just using the sim) just wondering if i could somehow track down my phone if it was stolen (like how on the old tdma phones u can mark an esn stolen and if someone trys to activate it it wont work...

(damn i miss my wireless guard...)
