So I am up and running with the free WAP (thank you all so much) but after some unknown amount of time or action, the hompage is lost from the openwave browser (which totally sucks btw). I made sure to enter the page and hit the OK button on the browser. I used UP Link 1 and AP1-IP port with waptunnel -- I include this info on the off chance that it means something. It might be when the phone is turned off and on but I am so tired of typing in a new home page I am loathe to try just now. Does anyone have a solution to this?

how did you get the free wap to work throught waptunnel i can not get it to work. what ip did you use? what port??

From http://www.waptunnel.com
207.232.99.109 port 9200 or 9201
the method for adding these uplinks is as follows for the 8600:
menu->
settings->
UO Proxy IP->
UP Link1 (you can choose any you want really)->
AP1-IP->
[enter 207.232.99.109]
OK->
AP1-Port->
9201->
OK
then go through the tiresome process of adding your homepage which never gets saved...

I don't really know. Try wap.google.com for starters. Let your curiosity guide you...
