Hi everyone,
I just bought an SCP-5000 and am having problems when I try to upload pictures into my phone. I start the Sync program up with my phone and when I try to send the picture to my phone it looks like it's going to but then I get an error message on my PC.
Anybody have any ideas??
Thanks in advance.

Make sure the phone doesn't go to 'sleep' before the transfer is completed. I found that when I selected the left or right arrows buttons on the phone during the transfer, all of my files would download properly. Reply to this post if that works for you too.

Nah, didn't work. The phone shows "Downloading" while the computer starts the transfer. The transfer bar flashes across but then I get the message "Send Error. (ErrNo. 109).
Any ideas??

I kinda think I know why r u having that problem. I had same problem but I kinda fixed it now.
for my thinkin, it's your computer speed.
When you are uploading something to the computer, try to turn off all the programs you have and dont touch your computer nor mouse while it's downloading.
Once, I had error and my phone just shut down and never turn on again, so I had to return it.
hope it works,~

Okay, I'm about to throw this phone out the window!!
I STILL get the error. I've tried rebooting the computer but I still get the error whether I try to download pics or midi files. If I ignore the error and keep retrying the phone decides to shut itself off then power up again.
Can someone please tell me what this error no. 109 is?? If I don't get this fixed soon you may see an SCP-5000 flying out onto Yonge St. in the Eg. area!!!

Is this happening ALL THE TIME or just with certain files? I had it happen with certain files, but it was really a spotty occurance.

are u sure that you have the phone set to phone sync? maybe u need to delete some of the files that are in the downloads section of the phone? Just some help for ya

It was giving me the error for ALL files. I checked to see if the memory was full but it was totally empty!!
Anyways, the problem is no more. I returned the phone as I didn't think it was worth the money. I'm back to my Samsung 8500. I DID buy a new ghetto blaster that plays MP3 CD's though!
Thanks for the help guys.
