Has anyone figured out how to unlock the file manager on a Cingular S56 so that files can be moved, sent, or shared?

Unfortunately, no. I have tried programs like Mobile Navigator, but it's attempts are rejected by however the phone is locked. I am intereseted if anyone knows though.

WOW, NICE.

Kudos to edsram. I too have been looking for something that will do that.

I still dont understand why they crippled the file transfer anyway (I realize there are copyright issues, but c'mon).

On a side note with the program, how does the .jad file work. I was able to download the .jar program, and then did a couple of picture transfers, but the .jad program wont show up in a file, it just shows like the info about the program or whatever. Forgive me for being somewhat stupid about this, as I am knew to the java world.

Is the .jad supposed to be some type of file that I am supposed to transfer to my phone?

You do need to install the jad and jar but the jad is just an information fill as far as I know.

Well i am assuming that the .jar file was all i needed, because like i said earlier, that is all i put on there and it seems to work fine. When i click on the .jad file, i dont get any download just a page pops up with the s/w info on it.

Hopefully my phone wont Blow up

crap. yesterday my phone went bezerk and erased my entire address book. dont know if it had anything to do with this app
