just bought a new unlocked SL 55 in asia and this is the software ver i have.

Prod.-Date: 2003-09-25
SW-Version: 14
SW-Date: 2003-07-23
Variant: S 701

siemens website says the latest is v.9. does this make sense to anyone?

I doesn't make sense (at least not to me). I got fw version 12...

Guys, version 14 is the latest and it has been out for at least 6 months. The service centerr can load version 14 on for you or your can download it from certain site on hte internet. Just search for siemens sl55 version 14 firmware.

I found found v14 on the web for the sl55 but if you have a Chinese sl55 or the sl5c, I have not been able to find a single update. If anyone can point me in the right direction, this would be appreciated!
