whats a good place in nyc to pick up a P900 for a good price with a new contract..?

The only place you can get the P900 with a contract that I know of is J&R. I heard they charge mucho $$$ for the p900 though. I was there a few days ago and they had a P900 on display.

I got mine in midtown (36th bet 5th & 6th?) from some guy who is an eBay seller and the phone was unlocked. If you go to eBay and search for a p900, he's the only one selling it in nyc. I bought the phone outside of eBay from him coz he charges outrageous shipping fees thru eBay...LOL.

You can try RCS Computer Experience @ 56th and Madison. The in-store shop called "Just Mobile" has the handset in-stock. The offer it on contract through T-Mobile.

Be forewarned though....there prices are not cheap. Even on contract.....

avoid the electronics stores around times square. their prices range from $770 - $1100 for an unlocked p900. plus, they're slimy.

try this guy: globaltrader@tmail.com

his name is hassan and he's on west 57th, i believe. he sold me an unlocked p900 last friday for $760. he was fast, friendly and reliable.

good luck.

yeah, they do run high in nyc.

like i said, hassan treated me right. i was happy with the $760 price and he had it delivered to the studio i where i was working. i got to check it out with my sim card first. paid him cash and i'm live. yeehaaa.

good luck and do let us know what you find for a price – i'm curious.

I picked mine up for $449 with new activation. there is a large chain called Cellular Plus with stores all over town. I went to the one on Lex & 56th. Couldn't be happier!

$449? either you're one lucky bugger or you're full of *****.

the lucky option, thank you very much. all you have to do is pick up the Voice or the NY Press for example and you will see the prices advertised in there. In fact, right now there are some new places offering them up for $425, even less than I paid, with new activation.
