Hey Everyone,
I'm looking to here from you guys on what phone you like and what about it you like please And I'm going to add it to my website,
Thanx

My personal favorite phone is my Sanyo SCP-5150. It is an awsome phone, it has every feature I need and a few that I have always wanted. The best thing about it is the fact that is has very good reception, the first thing to having good service is having a good phone. I also like the large colour screen, it is great for web browsing. The battery life is excelent and the sound quality rivals a land line. if you are looking for the best Sprint PCS phone on the market and have the $300 to spend, go for it.

Yeah I like the 5150 too even though I'm in canada Thanks for answering

exterior-wise, it will have to be the Pearl White V66 SE with Arctic Marine bezel and a Pearl White flashing antenna

Posted by: Scott

you know that doesn't sound bad either.

Nokia 8310/8390....

I like some of the Nokia's and Motorola's, but i have this darn aversion to paying too much for the name on a phone. they charge way too much for the befor mentioned phones and don't have any features to back up the high price with. you can get a phone that does two times more for half as much.

Nokia 6185. rock solid. Ask anyone. It is the BEST Nokia ever. amazing phone all-around.

Posted by: Player1

so if u could have any nokia...u'd take the 6185?

I adore my i80s
And my Sanyo 4500 - it never let me down... everything about it absolutely fabulous ... I'm obsessed with speaker phone, Ill never get another phone without it. I dont have a home phone so I spent a lot of time on the cell... 4500 easy to use, no problems, good quality... just toobad not tri-mode for Telus!!
However of the phones in the telus pcs now, I love playing with the samt300... and the sound is great and I love the animations... and the navigation and the menues... and I dont usually like flips but this is nice... good size too.

I like any nokia phone as long as it's digital or GSM currently I use the Nokia 8290 on Rogers Network and it's awesome

Posted by: Scott

You know your right that is a really good phone

At this time, I would say my favorite phone is T68i. It got a lot of cool features (ie. color, background, wap....and many more)

Posted by: Scott

ya everyone likes the Sony Ericsson T68i but the price

Posted by: dgorecki

I've just started using it, but the 6310i is becoming my favorite.

Needs to be seen whether I can get used to the size, though.

Nokia 8390 for sure. I used it for about 2 weeks and it's waaaayyy better than my trusty Ericsson T18d - which refuses to die :-)

Posted by: jrviolette

mine is the 3390

The winner is clearly the Siemens S55

1) bluetooth

2) speakerphone

3) IRDA

4) included flash camera (actually takes great pictures at night)

5) XP recogninzes the phone as a computer. Instant file transfer.

6) 16 chord poly ringers

7) voice activated dial/ voice activated menu acess

8) Can't beat the price / phone features!

I love it

Siemens S55/S56...nough' said!...This phone has EVERYTHING but a useless 65k color screen, just 256...which is all I need! It's like a T68i, with 16 poly ringers, Java and great RF, so its gotta be good, as the T68i is aswell, but better!

Posted by: lost_rebel

And yet you have a 3 yo Panasonic phone??

My question is what do people actually use Java (J2ME) for?
NOTE: the question is not what can I do, maybe... one day, but rather what do you do with it now?

as for the mobile, I love my GD87

65K colors
5.5 cm display
GPRS/CSD (typically 5.5KBytes/s downstream speed)
WAP (CHTML, IHTML, WAP2.0)
Email (POP3/SMTP)
IrDA (both for file transfer and wireless modem capabilities)
speakerphone
voicedial
embedded camera (No flash but does pretty good)
MMS
scheduler
+many others
Perfect for my current needs

Hah...In my opinion, my phone doesnt have to have 65k colors for me to appretiate it, i simply dont need it, and it would be useless for me as MMS isnt even out, and not all my friends have expensive phones. What am i going to do...stare at my background all day? I would rather have battery life, which to me is very important for something thats called a mobile! If i want 65K for WAP browsing (which by the way isnt even out, most WAP sites, if not all are still B&W) Il use my Tungsten paired with my soon to have S55 using BT...emerging technology my friends Good Day!

Posted by: lost_rebel

That is why they make different phones now isnt it?
I go typically 2-3 days between charging and that is my normal charge pattern whether the mobile needs it or not, typically I am only down 1 bar.
With MMS, I can send messages to an email address. The same as SMS, so I do not need friends with 'fancy' phones.
My mobile interpets CHTML and IHTML, I can go to many normal websites and they do have color pictures which I can enjoy!

And hey enjoy the BT, I have not heard many good things about it, but when it works it sure is convienent. But in the meantime I connect my mobile to my computer or PDA via IrDA, heck can even use it as a modem that way.
I have been using my mobile for 3 months now.....you know emerging technology at the time, and will get a new mobile later this year when Pana releases it....keepin up with the joneses.

I liked your post in the other thread about telling the person to ask more pointed questions about their mobile usage and desires.
Enjoy your continued wait for your new mobile.
