v60 color phone need help

I started buying a CD with ringtones & graphics on it, and a USB cable. After testing it out with my MOT V60 color AT&T TDMA phone, nothing works so far. But since then I found out that I can't power down my phone while holding down the key no more.All other functions are OK.
Anybody knows what's happening to my phone?
