Hi Everyone,

Does anyone know what my problem about setting up my T610 is?
I just got an unlocked T610 and use Cingular. Although I subscribe "Internet Express" and "MMS" service, both of them doesn't work now.

I set "Data Comm." like under below to use WAP service, but my cell still shows "a communication error has occured" everytime I try.

My setting so far...
Data Accounts (name): Cingular Wireless
APN: wap.cingular
User ID: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: CINGULAR1
Pwd. Request: off
Allow Calls: Automatic
IP Address: 66.209.11.61
DNS Address: none (although I put "IP Address #" once, never works)

(Advanced Settings)
Authentication: Secure
Data Compression: off
Header Compr.: off

I, of course, select the same setting above on "WAP Profiles"

How do you have your WAP profile set up under WAP options? The T610 must be configured in Data comm. and then a WAP profile must also be set up to use the different features.

I set up my WAP Profiles under WAP Options like this...

Profile name: Cingular
Connect Using: Cingular Wireless
IP Address: 66.209.11.61

- Advanced
- Change Homepage
Name: Express (http://device.home)
Second Account: none
User ID: WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM
Password: CINGULAR1
Security: on
Show Pictures: on

Is this incorrect?

Looks ok to me. Only difference in mine is I don't have the IP address listed under the data comm even listed ... left it blank since the wap profile takes care of it. You may want to call CS to make sure your number is in their gateway.

I can finally use Internet after keeping DNS under Data Comm., but I still cannot use MMS service. Do I need to change "Message Server" (74.84/servlets/mms)?

Does anyone know how to do it?
