I have noticed lately that when I have multiple calls comming in my phone will sometimes freeze and I have to actually take the battery out to reset it Otherwise the phone portion of it will not work. Anybody else experience this ? Thanks

Haven't had a problem...even though I've been playing with it for 5-6 hours and getting calls while on a call, no freezing or pausing. Where is your P900 made?

Mine has done that too. Don't forget that this is really a little computer so just like your pc occasionally freezing up so will your phone.

Do you really have to take the battery out? Can you just press the power button (10 seconds?) to reset it?

Mine totally froze last night so I had to remove the battery.

mine is made in france, but I usually have to take the battery out in order for my phone to work as a phone again because if I just turn it off the screen will turn black but will not turn off completely so that I can restart it. This Sucks !! $$$$ for a phone that freezes ? I wonder if I call SE if they will replace it ?

The P900 has not been released in the U.S. yet so therefore there is really no warranty thus far. You can try and see if they will support it though. It's worth a shot.

I have heard both that it's covered and NOT covered, but I read through the warranty information provided with my P900 and I dont see anything that would exclude a U.S. purchased phone from being covered under that warranty, UNLESS Expansys is not an authorized reseller of SE products (but a LOT of people buy from companies that are less legit than Expansys).

The Support manual that comes with the P900 even has a phone number for the service center for U.S. customers??

Puzzling...

If I had to use the warranty I would even take SE to court if they didn't honour it. If it's a international warranty they have to honour it, I don't care what the CSR says. Just go right to the top and ask to speak to the president of the company or send him or her a letter saying that you will go to the press with the matter. Don't forget that the sqeeky wheel gets the greese.

I'd like to see them win in a court of law for not honouring a warranty for a phone they sold me worth over $1,000 CAD. LOL.
