Accessories/Batteries for 4900

I wanted opinions from anyone who has purchased non-oem batteries for their phone? Any problems? They have an assortment of cheaper batteries on Ebay.
Also, I was wondering about these car speakerphone set-ups you can buy. Are they that much better than the speakerphone already on the 4900? A brand I saw at a store and on Ebay was "Tekno"(?) It looked like that one would work for me (comes with cradle/microphone.) Do these things charge your phone the entire time they're hooked up. That wouldn't be a good thing, right? Thanks to all that answer.
