Should I buy a P900?

I am currently considering the purchase of a new P900.

It is a toss-up between keeping my Nokia 3650 and buying a Sony CLIE UX50 (565.00) or simply buying a P900 (849.00).

Give me advice! Thanks.

i was in a similar spot only i was considering the imate or xda2 vs the p900.

one week ago today i got my p900 and I LOVE IT. a great device.

i got mine from a guy who's auctioning them off on ebay but i was in new york and he sent one over. he sold it to me for $760. this is where you'll find him: globaltrader@tmail.com his name is hassan. check out his store on ebay.

btw, i am not in any way affiliated with this person. i just had a good experience and got a good deal so i'm passing that info along.

Well... If you want a UX50, I have one that I am selling.

I just got my P900 yesterday and loaded some apps that I had from when I had my P800.... This device is so awesome. Can't say it enough. I was using the Nokia 6600 for a week and this thing just blows it away. GPRS is fast (I have never wanted to browse on Opera this much ), menu speeds are fast, T9 input, and the list goes on. You will not be disappointed. The unit feels very solid and looks awesome!

I had your current setup (3650 and UX50). When I got the P900, I sold both. My advice is go for it!

Right on... I'm gonna go for it. Should be picking it up right after work.

Thanks for the input guys!

Oh my god... I got one!

This thing is just too damn cool. It is definately the coolest phone I have ever seen. And it serves as a pretty nice PDA also!

I bought it at a place called Phone Warehouse on 59S across from Sharpstown Mall. You can find them online at http://www.phonewarehouse.com. They've got them on sale right now, so hurry!

Ask for Wonder - she was very helpful.

you got it for $849? did you trade in your old phone? the price they gave me was $899 before, and if i trade my p800, i will add $450.

Yeah, $849.99 + tax. Here is the link: http://www.affordablephones.net/Pro...ail.asp?ID=1120

I think I got the last one they had in stock, but they said more should be coming in this week. Wonder was nice enough to hold the phone for me for a day while I organized payment. I think the total was 920.11 after tax and everything.

These people have everything. I have gone to them repeatedly when I couldn't find anyone else in town who had the phone or accessory I wanted - they always have it, or have it on order.

I highly recommend this store.

welcome to the P900 club.

Yeah - the P900 kicks ***.

I am so happy I got one... On a related note, I tried to drain my battery completely last night and was unsuccessful! It stayed at 1% (and sometimes 0%; it toggled) for almost an hour, during constant use.

Bluetooth was on, I was playing MP3s and I was using GPRS heavily. For some reason, I couldn't drain the battery. I did this for almost four hours, and finally had to go to bed.

I love this phone!
