Well, I went to purchase the S56 online today but decided to call my local store and see if they had any in stock. (Local is Salt Lake City)

Well they did and they said that they would match the web prices without a problem.

So I was planning on getting the phone for the web price of $129.99 -$50 (additional line credit) = 79.99

When the sales guy went to ring it up, it rang up as $79.99 normal price. Then he deducted the $50 making my total $29.99 plus tax!!!!

That is great...I am not sure if all the stores have this...but it would be worth it to check your local stores.

FYI

Thanks
Thanos

What is the retail price for current users under contract with no discounts?

Thanks,
Josh

Well if you go to www.attws.com right now it shows the regular price being $79.99 so there you go..$80 is your price.

Thanks

I guess it's that simple, thanks. The reason I asked is that Verizon does not display non-contract prices on their online store. AFAIK the only way to find those prices is to access online CS and use the phone upgrade feature. It is nice that ATT does not hide the MSRP of the phone.

Don't believe what AT&T posts on their web site. I am under contract now and I called after seeing the $79 price for the S56. Even though that is listed as MSRP (retail), I was told that price is for new customers only. My price (not currently eligible for discounts) was $155.

AT&T apparently has another definition of "retail".

I got the s56 for the 79.99 price with my contract extension of 1 year. Love the features, and rf just too small.

I just bought mine for 79.99. The guy at the AT&T store said that was the regular price.
