Hiya mates,

I am onto my 3rd P900 rite now as the first 2 i got replaced due to RF problems and the thin red line problem.....

Well i noticed that all the P900's i have had till now including the one i now have are squeakers....the first one was horrible....second one a bit better....the one i am using now only squeaks in the zone below the power/IR area.....but it still is annoying....

Cud someone please tell me how i can get rid of this squeaking....as in either by tightening the screws or woteva....

Cheers,
Doc.

Assuming you can open it safely, try making a silicone gasket. You can get a tube of silicon at the hardware store, and then you need a little saran wrap and an exacto (plus a few hours cure time) and you're ready to go.

There are two screws at the top that may be tightened. You can use a small philips head screwdriver to tighten them. You will need something to pry out the two plastic covers on the back top of the phone. They are held in by adhesive. Removing them may losen them. You may want to consider adding more adhesive to them to hold them in after you have removed them.

Rick,

I don't think there are any screws that can help resolve this particular issue.

The problem seems to be in the plastic around the area where the Duo Pro slot is and in the opposite side where the power button is located.

I believe everyone has this issue, to varying degrees, but may not have noticed it before.

I, for one, didn't notice it until people started talking about it and it's driving me insane right now...

It appears to be a simple design fault and one which could have been avoided if the case was made of an alloy. You get used to it but I for one am a little miffed that my SE T610 is solid. Isn't the P900 supposed to be top of the range.

I couldn't agree more with that analogy... right on Cheech
