NEC 525 Infrared

I just got my NEC 525 today, I agree the earpiece volume is low, but its ok for me, one thing i have seen a lot of talk about people only able to make infrared conections to other NEC phones, but I was able to successfully send my contacts via infrared from a Sony Ericsson T68i to my NEC 525 without any special settings. I am thinking infrared transfer would work with other Sony Ericsson phones.

I too was able to transfer my contacts to my new 525 from my T306 without any problems. I was also able to do it from my Pocket PC using Peacemaker.
