Anyone seen it in Sin Tat? If so, how much is it?

Looking to pick one up around Christmas, and wanted to know if it was similar to the Z600 in price!

Hey superdx, the NEC 525 will probably not be offered in the Hong Kong area soon, buying it either unlocked or from a third-party would be your best bet.

Also, as long as you're using GSM the NEC 525 operates on the 900/1800 and 850/1900 frequencies, so, conceivably at least, it works anywhere in the world.

Just a side note, I'm getting this phone really soon (Christmas, sweet!) and it's absolutely awesome. The camera's pretty crappy, but the screen(s) and the games are incredible. Hope this helped.

The NEC 525 is not offered anywhere else except through NEC and AT&T and all the phones will be locked to AT&T. I have yet to find anyone anywhere that can unlock the current NEC GSM phones for AT&T.

Thanks for the heads up. Too bad though, looks like Z600 is my only option in HK!
