I am sure it is me.

OK how do I save as a contact a number that I have just dialled.
Call log just tries to dial ??

Its driving me mad!!

huh?

You go to call log (unless you changed it, this is accessible by clicking on the central ball in flip closed mode).

The first click of the jogdial will get you to the list. The second one will dial the first number, which is incidentally the last person you tried to dial.

on the p800 (may or may not be the same as p900)

Open flip

tap phone icon

tap (bottom left handside) phone list of numbers called or received

find the # you want to add to contacts

tap the #

Tap phone (top left handside) & from drop downlist hit "add to contacts"

No - different on P900.

Sussed it but it's not v.good.

Open flip - Phone - Edit - Preferences - Add to contacts
Add party to contacts has to be on.

When U finish a call that is not in ur contacts list u r asked if u wanna save.

another option is to go to the list (second button in the phone icon in flip open).

Click on an item in the list and if it's someone new (not an existing contact) you have the option, under the "Phone" menu, to add it as a contact.
