Ok, I can't seem to figure out how to use voice dialing. How does it work on the 8600? I recorded the name, but how do I call with it?

My Samsung was simply pushing a button and saying the name.

press and hold down the send/talk button for several seconds. You can also set to activate when the phone is flipped open.

I notice sometimes when i flip the phone open it will say starting VR but sometimes it will crash

but when it works though, it works like a charm lol

It should not crash. My first one would go haywire after several attempts to voice dial. Would hang and I would have to remove the battery. Second phone has not done that. If you got it from verizon I would return it and demand a replacement.
