anyone on cingular and using a p900? If so can you please post your mms settings or let me know how you got yours going. i got the internet and sms but can not seem to get mms to work. i get a "communication with server" error. reason code 0x528.

any help would be great. i am on hold with cingular now but there systems are down.

you call customer service dept at Cingular and have them transfer you to the tech support as they can send you the configuration wirelessly and it will automatically configure your phone for you

let me know if no one can help you as I can jot down the configuration for you

You must have Internet over GPRS working. That done, you go into the control panel, connections, the message services section, click on the MMS tab and the address for Cingular is http://mmsc.cingular.com

You haven't given any details about your settings so it's hard to know what to suggest.

Obviously, you must susbscribe to Cingular's MMS service. It won't work without them turning you on for that.

HOWEVER, there is a limitation that I've run up against, both with my P900 and my Z600. The phone appears capable of SENDING a complete MMS message (at least on Cingular's network). I've been unable to RECEIVE any sound with any MMS messages (sent from Cingular to Cingular) on either of these phones. Picture and text seem to work fine.

My previous P800 and T616 had no problem sending and/or receiving within the network. Be advised there appear to be some inter-network issues. Here in Southern California T-Mob users have reported problems sending MMS to Cingular. Or at least, to me.

I'd be very surprised if Cingular will send you any configuration set-up over the air. The P900 is not supported by them. If you have any luck, please keep us posted.

thanks for your help man.

I have the MMS feature active on my account and the gprs is active as well. Tech support walked me throught all the correct setting today even thought they didn't suport the phone.

i can't seem to get any mms messages on the phone. When i mms myself it goes to my email account. Also when someone and when someone else outside the cingular net. sends me a message it tells tehm that user can only recieve text. If I send them one they get a web link to go and view it. i am going to call them tomorrow. and see if they can point me in the right place. i would switch to T-mobile but i can't right now due to some credit issues.

any more insite from other people would be appreciated
