So far I like the phone, but does anyone kno whow to just silence or change the horrible "music" when the phone turns on and off?

i'm a telus client, so it might be different if you are a U.S. resident.
go to

SETTING

SOUND

ALERTS

then you will se "On/Off Tones" at the bottom.

All Verizon customers have it. It's annoying.

How the heck did they choose the crappiest tone ever then? If they're gonna stick us with any tone, at least make it subtle.

Is there anyway to turn it off? I know if u hit any button it stops and start up continues without it, but it sucks.
