Hi,

I,m try to get one GX22 from HK, but few things I like to know before I buy this phone.

1. Is it come with the Normal Ring Tong.( Old Style not the Music)

2. Can it input the chinese text?

3. How about the RF with 1900 (T-Mobile)?

4. What make it so expensive! closed to USD600, the Nokia 6600 are selling about 450$.

5. Any leather case available?

Thanks for any feeback.

1. Is it come with the Normal Ring Tong.( Old Style not the Music)

It can play iMelody tunes which are like the old single tone ringtones but you have to download them yourself. It also has some basic ring tones. It is more of a polyphonic phone though.

2. Can it input the chinese text?
The GX22 displays Chinese text but I don't know about inputing it.

3. How about the RF with 1900 (T-Mobile)?
Works fine on T-Mobile for me.

4. What make it so expensive! closed to USD600, the Nokia 6600 are selling about 450$.
I think its just rare. You can't buy a US version yet. It's got a great screen and high-end CCD camera.

5. Any leather case available?
Sorry dunno - I use a black leather looking case I got from Best Buy. It clips to my belt.

Thanks and just order GX22 and will arrived in tomorrow morning,
Is your GX22 and work with T-Zone from T-Mobile? and where can I buy the data cable to download the rington and wallpaper.

Thanks

Yep, it works fine. Actually with T-Mobile now not charging per megabyte for GPRS I use the phone as a modem too quite a bit. IrDA and cable work great. MMS works fine too.

I bought Mobile Actions' USB MA-8110P cable. It came with a CDROM but you can download the latest GX-20 software from their web site for free. I had to buy it from England and it cost about $30 and took a week or so to arrive. Sorry I can't remember the shop but if you Google for "Mobile Action MA-8110P" then you should find a shop. It also can charge your phone from your laptop's battery if you need it to (sounds a bit scary to me).
